What the CIMB is
Three days where the job becomes a race, and the race becomes an excuse to see each other.
The Iberian Cycle Messenger Championship started in Madrid in 2009 with just over a hundred riders. It has moved city and hands ever since, always run by people who deliver for a living.
It isn't only a competition. It's where people who spend their days alone on the street get together, compare notes, argue about where the trade is going, and remember why they do this. The racing is serious. So is the celebrating.

OPEN

FLINTA
A safe, inclusive, competitive space for women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people.
Awareness
CIMB 2026 has an awareness team, present throughout the event.
Awareness means looking after each other. A group of identifiable people, part of the organisation, you can go to if you experience or witness an assault, a racist, sexist, transphobic or LGBTQ-phobic comment, or simply if you don't feel safe. They listen, they stay with you, and they act on what the affected person wants, never over their head.
They exist because they're needed. In spaces full of bodies, noise and crowds, boundaries get crossed, and they almost always get crossed towards the same people: women, trans, non-binary and intersex riders. Making the CIMB somewhere everyone is comfortable isn't the awareness team's job: it's everyone's.
No means no. And only yes means yes.
